Digital Transgender Archive
Freya Richman is a Jewish trans woman from Appleton, Wisconsin. She became involved with 20 Percent Theater and their show The Naked I, which she was able to use as a platform to tell her story. She discusses what it is like to come out as trans later in life, and the impact that had on her relationships. She talks about workplace discrimination, as well as the difference in the way people who knew her before treat her compared to those who only know her after transitioning.
