A mock wedding on board H.M.S. Dominion. The bride (in drag) and groom are being married by a man dressed as a teacher (wearing mortar board). They are surrounded by other male crew members. A Christmas party was yet another reason on board ship for at least one of the crew members to dress in drag. The holly and ivy wreaths suggest that they cannot have been too far from home
