Digital Transgender Archive
(L to R): Terry Sykes, John Langworthy, Julian Desailly and a security guard, standing outside The Block Arcade. They were attending the Gay Liberation 'Gender confusion dance' which was held at Melburnian Receptions which was located in the basement of The Block Arcade. The Gender Confusion dance was a radical drag/gender fuck event. The photo was used on the front cover of Nation Review newspaper, and related to a photo essay on Gay Pride Week (7-14 Sep 1973).
