She talks about her work starting GLBT Generations to address the issues older LGBT people face, and was instrumental in opening the Spirit on Lake apartment building in 2013, and Clare Housing. She believes in the importance of building bridges to LGB groups to become more inclusive of trans issues, and she started the first Trans Day of Remembrance in the Twin
